Important: OralCheck is a risk-assessment questionnaire, not a screening test and not a diagnostic instrument. The screening test for oral cancer is the visual and tactile examination you perform; OralCheck's only job is to make a patient more likely to sit down for one and to mention the right history when they do. Encourage any patient with concerning symptoms, or with an elevated risk tier, to schedule a full clinical evaluation.
